I know that we still have time, but Halloween will be here before we know it. I thought that I’d do a quick roundup of the Central Florida theme parks and what we know about their Halloween offerings so far. I’m giving minimal information, with a link to each event.
Walt Disney World
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is not taking place in 2021. Instead, we have Disney After Hours Boo Bash. It will be a separate ticketed event at the Magic Kingdom. It will take place on select nights starting on August 10. The final evening will be October 31.
Universal Orlando Resort
Halloween Horror Nights will return to Universal Studios this year! It will be the 30th running of the popular event. It will take place on select nights from September 3 through October 31. Information on event tickets has not yet been released.
Busch Gardens Tampa
Howl-O-Scream ran last year, and it will return again for 2021. It is a separate ticketed event. It will take place on select nights September 10 through October 31. Tickets are already on sale, and reservations will be required.
SeaWorld Orlando, Part One
You won’t have to drive all the way to Tampa to experience Howl-O-Scream. For the first time ever, SeaWorld Orlando will hold its own version. (The two parks are both owned by SeaWorld Parks and Entertainment.) The separate ticketed event will run on select nights from September 10 through October 31. Tickets for Howl-O-Scream are already on sale, and reservations will be required.
SeaWorld Orlando, Part Two
The kids aren’t going to be left out of the Halloween celebration at SeaWorld Orlando this year. SeaWorld Spooktacular will return on weekends, September 18 through October 31. This one is included with theme park admission. Besides the dates, no information has been released.
The non-scary Brick or Treat will be held this year. It will take place on Saturdays and Sundays in October. Brick or Treat is included with your LEGOLAND admission.
