Ten Second Tip: When Things Go Wrong

It’s not a Cast Member’s fault if there’s a crowd

Walt Disney World may be the most magical place on Earth, but sometimes that magic fails. When things go wrong, please don’t take it out on the Cast Members. Whether it’s the crowd, a ride that’s closed, or a major system malfunction, the Cast Members that you will deal with are not to blame. It hurts when I hear someone verbally abusing a Cast Member. If that’s something that you witness, take a moment to try to encourage him or her. A simple “don’t listen to that, you’re doing a great job” can make a difference.
