Is Disney Early Morning Magic- Toy Story Land Worth It?

No line for Woody

Disney Early Morning Magic- Toy Story Land is a special ticketed event that takes place on select Mondays and Wednesdays. Currently they are scheduled through the middle of December. I was invited by Disney to attend the event on September 17. Full disclosure, I did not have to pay a cent to attend, I was a guest of Disney. That does not sway anything that I’m saying here.

No line for Buzz either

First a bit of information. With Disney Early Morning Magic, a small number of guests are allowed into Toy Story Land at 7:30. They then have it to themselves until 8:45. All three rides are open, and Woody, Buzz, and Jessie are all out as well. Breakfast at ABC Commissary is also included, and that is available until 10:00.

The rides were all walk on

All three of the rides were walk on. In fact, there were empty seats. I rode Slinky Dog Dash three times, and if I wanted to I’m sure I could have ridden it several more times. There were no waits for Alien Swirling Saucers or Toy Story Mania! either, both of which I hit. There wasn’t a wait for Buzz or for the giant Woody at the entrance to the land. There were maybe a dozen people in line to meet Woody and Jessie. That was it for the lines.

Breakfast features one hot entree

Breakfast consists of pastries, fruit, and yogurt. That part is all that you could eat. There are also hot entrees, of which you can pick one. I asked about vegan entrees. The chef told me that a couple of them can be made vegan, just tell a Cast Member when you arrive.

A lineless Toy Story Mania!

Disney Early Morning Magic- Toy Story Land costs $69 for kids ages three through nine, and $79 for ten and older. When I first heard the price I thought it was a bit high, but there is a lot of value in that cost. If you want to be able to enjoy Toy Story Land without having to wait, it’s a bargain. The fact that breakfast is included makes it a better value. One thing to keep in mind, you also need admission to the park over and above the cost of the special event. For more information or to make a reservation, call 407-827-7350. You can also make a reservation online, but don’t look under tickets. You’ll find it under dining reservations on the Walt Disney World website.

This part is all you can eat

Disney Early Morning Magic- Toy Story Land offers guests a chance to see the new land without being surrounded by people. I noticed little details today that I normally wouldn’t see. I got to ride everything, and I had a great breakfast. An hour and 15 minutes may not sound like a lot of time, but I had no problem getting everything done since there was no crowd. If you don’t mind paying for it, I think this is a fantastic event to sign up for. One word of advice; wait until after 8:45 to get breakfast. You don’t want to waste a crowdless moment in the actual land.
