My V.I.Passholder Night

A nearly empty Epcot

A couple of months ago I told you about V.I.Passholder Nights. Disney announced that there would be three nights where only Passholders could enjoy the parks. The first date was at the Magic Kingdom in August. The other two were announced for Epcot. Passholders could pick only one of the three nights, and the spots went quickly.

Dance Party!

Last night (September 6) was the night that my daughter and I attended. The event was great, we got to experience an almost empty Epcot! It lasted for two hours, and those 120 minutes went quickly.

IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth

We started with IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth. The park was still packed with non-event guests who were also there to enjoy the show. If I had to do it over again I might have skipped IllumiNations for the event. We can see it anytime, and we got caught up in the crowd at the end. Still, I’m glad we watched, it’s a fantastic show.

Wait Times were short

From there we hit the rides. We walked onto both Soarin’ and Spaceship Earth. We also rode Test Track, that one took about 25 minutes. There was a dance party and we spent some time there. We didn’t bother with food. The Global Marketplaces were open, but we’re planning on going back to the Food & Wine Festival several times before November 12, and we didn’t want to take the time.

V.I.Passholder Night

It was amazing to me how quickly the two hours went. There were no extras at our V.I.Passholder Night, just short lines and a chance to see Epcot at night with few others around. I hope that Disney offers more events like this, I would definitely want to attend again. There is one more V.I.Passholder Night planned for October. If that’s the one you signed up for, have a great time!
