New Information on Galactic Starcruiser, Including Pricing and Potential Opening Date

There’s new information!

There is lots of new information on Galactic Starcruiser! I’m just going to go over the highlights, you can find all of the details on the official Galactic Starcruiser website.

I’ll start with the big question, pricing. We knew that it wasn’t going to be cheap. The prices released are for two, three, and four people per cabin. For two people per cabin the total cost will start at $4,809 total. Three people per cabin will start at $5,299, and for four it’s $5,999. The price for three and four is based on two adults and the rest children. These are the low prices, I’m sure that the busiest times of year will be much more.

We also have what could be a potential starting date. With the prices, the date of August 20, 2022 is given. That doesn’t mean that there won’t be earlier dates, but we do know that it should be open by then. Update, the website says “Spring, 2022” but doesn’t give any more information.

There are also three classifications for cabins. The prices listed are for the Standard Cabin, which sleeps up to five people. There is also a Galaxy Class Suite, which sleeps up to four. There are a couple of extras and more “space” (if you’ll forgive the pun). The final classification is Grand Captain Suite. This is for up to eight guests. In addition to the other amenities there is a sitting area and there are two bathrooms.

Remember, this is not a hotel. Think of it more as a two night cruise. There is a lot included for the price. In addition to your room you’ll receive meals, entertainment, and plenty of surprises. A cruise needs to stop at a port, and Galactic Starcruiser will stop on the planet of Batuu. Your ticket to Disney’s Hollywood Studios is included, but that one day ticket is good only for your stay. Rise of the Resistance is included. For those who are sure that Disney is getting rid of MagicBands, each guest will receive an “exclusive Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser databand (known on your home planet as a MagicBand)”.

That’s the condensed version of the new information. We still don’t know when reservations will open. When they do, I’ll let you know.
