Festival of the Arts will return next month!

Even though we’re only about halfway through the Taste of Epcot International Festival of the Holidays, it is never too early to start thinking about what will happen next at Epcot. The Taste of Epcot International Festival of the Arts will run from January 8 through February 22, 2021. Disney Parks Blog has released some preliminary information.

I’ll start with some news that I’m pretty excited about. Voices of Liberty will continue to perform in the America Gardens Theater! The show for Festival of the Arts will be called The Disney Songbook. We’ve been promised songs like Let It Go and When You Wish Upon a Star. There was a rumor that Voices of Liberty was being let go after Festival of the Holidays, so I am thrilled to hear this.

Two other Festival of the Arts performances will be moved to World ShowPlace. Art Defying Gravity and Visual Art in Performance will both take place in the building between the United Kingdom and Canada. You won’t want to miss either show.

The Food Studios will return, with treats that are almost too creative to eat. Vibrante & Vívido Food Studio will be new this year. The rest of the menus have not yet been released. With Wonderful Walk of Colorful Cuisine, you’ll purchase five different food items and receive a sixth for free.

The photo opportunities will return this year, as will the giant paint by numbers mural. There will also be extra art for sale around the park. Scavenger hunts have become an important part of all four festivals, and for Festival of the Arts it will be Figment’s Brush with the Masters. You’ll buy a map, find Figment, and receive a prize.

I’m sure that there will be more information on the Taste of Epcot International Festival of the Arts as we get closer to January 8. I really enjoy this festival. I’ve watched it mature each year since it debuted, and I’m excited that it will return in just a few weeks. I know that it will be modified, but since it’s a smaller festival the change won’t feel as drastic.
